I am Finnish illustrator and graphic designer Ninni Kairisalo. I have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Bachelor of Culture and Arts, and I've been working as a freelancer since 2007. I also have an MBA and I’m a member of the Finnish Illustration Association.

I am a 2022 and 2025 World Illustration Awards longlisted artist, with my work "Wheels" in the Exploration category. One of my editorial illustrations was selected for the 13th Mikkeli Illustration Triennal in 2023.
As an illustrator I like to combine traditional techniques, like ink and brush, with digital colouring. I enjoy working with fun and quirky ideas to form a beautiful and detailed picture.
